Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Who is responsible
The operator of this website is responsible for the personal information described here. We handle it in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Technical details sent by your browser: IP address, device and browser type, language, the page you came from and the pages you view.
- We do not record which links you select. Listing links go straight to the venue's website, and a partner link can carry a tag in its address that tells the venue the visit came from this website.
- When you arrive from one of our advertisements, a traffic-checking service receives your IP address, browser details, the address you came from and the campaign tags in the page address. It checks the visit and decides which page to show you. If it sends you on to a partner's website, the campaign tags are passed to that partner.
- Anything you choose to send us, such as your email address when you write to us.
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not take payments.
Why we use it
- To show you this website and keep it secure and working.
- To check visits that arrive from our advertisements and pass campaign tags on to our partners.
- To answer your messages.
We do not use analytics. We do not measure our audience and we do not build a profile of you.
Who we share it with
We use service providers for hosting and for checking visits that arrive from our advertisements. They handle information only to provide those services. Fonts on this website load from Google Fonts, so when a page opens your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google. When you follow a link to a venue, that venue receives your visit under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Some providers are located outside Australia, so your information may be processed overseas.
How long we keep it
We keep technical information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it.
Your choices
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@new.topaustraliaonline.com. You can also limit cookies through your browser, as described in our cookie policy.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will respond in writing. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au .
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
